Getting started
Customise your page
Set up a Fundraising Page and then invite your friends, family and colleagues to get involved and support you. You can track how much money you have raised and keep people updated on your progress.
Creating your Fundraising Page is really simple. Just choose a name for your page and add an inspiring message explaining why you think supporting your fundraiser is important and why you're supporting it. Your message to your sponsors can be very powerful. Make sure to include an image or photo.
Set your target
Set a target that you are likely to achieve. You can think of practical ways to adjust the scale of your idea to meet your target. As you get close to your target, let people know so they can get behind you and help you get over the line.
Share your fundraising activity
You are fundraising, which is awesome, but now you need to shout it from the rooftops! Get creative on social media and make sure everyone knows what you are up to. Share your fundraising plan, share your target and thank people publicly to motivate others to help you on your way to smashing your target.
Involve your networks
Get others to help
Get friends, family and work colleagues to spread the word about your fundraising too - they'll be keen to help you get more sponsors and fundraise on your behalf.
Ask your boss to match your donations dollar for dollar, or recruit colleagues and create a team together.
Think creatively
Get others involved in your fundraising by creating a team to participate in 65k In May or what about setting a personal challenge and ask other people to sponsor you to complete? Make sure you post your progress on social media to get people pumped! You could climb one flight of stairs for every $10 donated or commit to going coffee free for each day you receive a donation.
Thank your supporters
Gratitude is the most powerful way to acknowledge your supporters during and after your event. No matter how big or how small their contribution was, thank everyone who supported you in your fundraising journey.
